Steps to resolve Pension Fund crisis
February 19, 2016

Staff unions have proposed concrete steps to resolve the crisis at the pension fund, whereby new retirees are going six months without any payment despite having rent and bills to pay.
The unions also call on the fund's board to step out of its state of denial and actually hold a meeting to resolve the issue. To-date the board's Chair, Olisoji Adeniyi, has refused to do so as it believes this would constitute "micro-management" of the fund's CEO, Sergio Arvizu.
We note in passing that Arvizu still hasn't been cleared of the serious allegations of mis-management made against him.
