OHRM is under orders to complete its retroactive assessment of your eligibility for conversion to a permanent contract by today, 19 June 2014. We expect therefore that you should be receiving a notification of that decision in the near future.
While we remain hopeful that the decision on your conversion will be positive, we are already looking to the possibility of future litigation which could necessitate filings before the MEU, UNDT or UNAT. These decisions will be based on the individualized consideration you are given by OHRM.
In anticipation of these possibilities, the Staff Union Legal Committee hereby requests an electronic copy of your decision within 10 days of receipt as well as a contact email and phone number.
Failure to provide this document will exclude you from representation through the Staff Union but leaves open the possibility of self representation or representation by the Office of Staff Legal Assistance.
The Staff Union Legal Committee intends to hold a meeting to provide further information and answer any questions you may have during the week of 30 June 2014.
