On the occasion of International Women’s Day
(tomorrow, 8 March) we not only celebrate the many contributions made by women at the ICTY and beyond, but we also redouble our commitment to improving the situation of women the world over.
To mark International Women’s Day 2014, and in memory of the Rwandan genocide 20 years ago, the Staff Union will today be selling flowers to raise money for a charity assisting women in Rwanda.
Donation boxes will remain around the ICTY until 6 April 2014.
